Wind Forecast for Ireland

WindGuru is a service that allows you to create customised wind forecasts for your local spot. The forecasts are based on GFS (Global Forecasting System) models. I just created a forecast for Liscannor Bay in Co Clare.

The forecasts are updated every 6 hours and the resolution of the GFS model is about 100 km so although it's not entirely accurate, it can give a good indication of wind.
